The boat: Sawadee is a lovingly restored Cheoy Lee cutter with a GRP hull and Burmese teak fittings, built at the Cheoy Lee shipyard in Penny’s Bay in 1980. One of a few remaining Cheoy Lee sailing yachts from that magical era of Hong Kong’s maritime history, she was built as a blue water sailing boat, which accounts for her exceptional seaworthiness. Skippered by an experienced sailor and his wife, this is the perfect sailing boat to start crewing or even practice at the helm, in a jovial atmosphere. Charter options include various sailing experiences on the South Side.
